Welcome to Oakvale, a small village at the edge of a big forest. HB RPG is a cozy online RPG with pixel art, eleven skills to train and a world you share with everyone else who is playing.
It is free, it runs in your browser and you sign in with your Google account. No download, no install.
Your first evening
- Say hello to the Innkeeper and the villagers. Grandpa Alder has opinions about everything.
- Buy a copper axe from the Merchant and chop a few trees in the Forest.
- Fish at the pond, then cook your catch at the bonfire when night falls.
- When you feel brave, fight a few rats in the Sewers.
Everything you gather turns into something else: logs into planks, planks into furniture, ore into bars, bars into swords. Before long you will be building your own house on your lot.
Better with friends
The Forest and the Dungeon are shared. If a friend is fighting next to you, you both see the same monsters and split the reward. Once a week a boss wanders into the valley and the whole village fights it together.
What comes next
The game is updated often. Every update gets a short post here in the news, and the wiki is generated straight from the game, so its numbers are always current.
