A steady connection, fixed monster levels, a new sword swing
The real cause of "Reconnecting" is fixed, every zone now has its own monster levels, the sword swing is redrawn from scratch, and idle players stay in the world for 5 minutes instead of pausing.
- No more random "Reconnecting". We found it: the server closed every connection after about 50 seconds by mistake. Now your connection stays open, and if it ever really drops, the game reconnects quietly and only shows the banner after 8 seconds.
- Monster levels per zone. Monsters no longer follow the players' levels. Mine 1–4 · Sewers 3–8 · Forest 5–15 · Desert 15–25 · Graveyard 22–32 · the Dungeon goes on from there, floor by floor.
- New sword swing. The sword swing is reworked: see 2.34.8.
- No pause. Going idle doesn't pause the game anymore: you stay in the world (monsters can still find you). After 5 minutes without touching anything you leave the game, and a tap brings you back.
- Monsters stay in their zone. They don't follow you out of their area anymore, they walk back. And when you step out, you can still see them heading home instead of vanishing.
- Smarter monsters. Better pathfinding around trees, walls and furniture.
- Skill unlocks. Click a skill in your backpack to see everything it unlocks: what you already have and what comes next.
- Living water. Lakes, rivers and the sea now shimmer and ripple.
- Oakvale. The village bonfire moved next to Wren the Fisher, and the Leaderboard took its old place.
