Rules (Code of Conduct)

Last updated: 2026-10-16

Oakvale is a small village. Keep it friendly.

Be decent

• No harassment, threats, hate speech, or insults about anyone's origin, religion, gender, sexuality or disability.
• No sexual content, and nothing that involves minors in any inappropriate way.
• No spam, flooding, advertising, scam links or begging.
• Do not share anyone's personal information (including your own).
• Names must not be offensive, impersonate staff or real people, or be advertisements.

Play fair

• No bots, macros, scripts, modified clients or automation of any kind.
• No exploiting bugs. If you find one, report it with ✉ Feedback → Bug. Honest reports may be rewarded.
• No buying or selling gold, items or accounts for real money.
• No multi-accounting to gain an advantage (for example feeding items to yourself or farming the market).
• Do not try to break, overload or attack the server.

What happens if you break a rule

Depending on how serious it is: a warning, a mute (10 minutes to 30 days), a kick, a forced name change, a temporary ban or a permanent ban. Illegal content is removed and may be reported to the authorities. You always see the reason, and you can appeal (see the Terms).

Reporting

Click ⚑ next to a chat line or type /report Name reason. Reports are read by a moderator. False reports made on purpose also break the rules.
