24 new weapons, living stations, two new villagers
Six weapon sets from wood to royal steel drop from monsters, monsters flinch when you hit them, the anvil and fires come alive, and a knight and a rogue move into Oakvale.
- 24 new rare weapons in 6 sets. Each set has a sword, a dagger, an axe or hammer, and a staff, spear or mace. Every weapon type swings differently: daggers are fast, axes hit hard, staffs are slow but strong.
- Wooden: Forest monsters below level 10.
- Bone: Forest monsters, level 10–14. Lands double hits.
- Elven: Forest elves, level 15 and up. Slows what you hit.
- Banshee: Graveyard monsters. Steals life.
- Ivy Marble: Dungeon, floor 30 and below. Poisons.
- Royal Steel: Dungeon, floor 30 and below. Hits everything around you.
- Monsters flinch. Zombies, elves, the garden statues, Medusa and the royal guard now play a real hit animation when you strike them. More monsters will follow.
- Living stations. The anvil hammers while you work at it (or while Bram does), the oven fire flickers, and campfires now burn with real flames and smoke.
- New in Oakvale: Sir Aldric the Knight patrols the square and knows where the best weapons are. Shade the Rogue lurks by the pond. He says he'll have work for you soon.
- The Lost Castle in the Dungeon got stained-glass windows, a roaring fireplace and a throne room.
- For builders: the world editor has five new palettes: cliffs with a mine entrance, garden, crypt, fairy forest and castle.
